Snack fee policy
Snack fee payment is required in advance. These advanced payments receive an additional 5 percent credit (e.g. one additional dollar for an advanced payment of twenty dollars), which may be used towards additional snack purchases.
Here are some things we have found over the years:
- “Hungry kids” need about $20 per month
- The norm is about $10 per month for “normally hungry kids.”Kids who usually bring their own snacks from home like to have special snacks from time to time.
- If you would like to limit the number of snacks that the kids eat, please let us know.We track the number of snacks that the kids’ eat and debit from their snack credit. A week before their snack credit is to run out, we will do our best to inform you.
If kids do not use all their snack credits, we can refund the amount or the kids can use them the next semester.Money collected from snacks typically goes toward purchasing art material and other supplies for the after school program.Payment must be paid in cash or check.
